Landscaping Services for Your Home

Most of our work falls into three groups. Regular care covers lawn care, mulch and beds, and seasonal cleanup. Projects cover landscape design, sod installation, irrigation and hardscape installation such as pavers and walkways. Tree work covers tree trimming and removal, palm tree pruning and removal, stump grinding, bamboo removal and larger property cleanup when a yard has gotten away from you.

  • Lawn Care

Mowing, edging and trimming on a seasonal schedule, handled by the same small crew who notices what your lawn needs next.

  • Landscape Design

A planting and layout plan built around your sun, soil and drainage, then installed by the same small crew that drew it.

  • Mulch and Beds

Weeded, edged and freshly mulched beds, with the right material at the right depth so your plants stay cooler and the weeds stay down.

  • Irrigation

Sprinkler repair, rain sensor and controller work, and new zones laid out so every part of your yard gets the water it needs and no more.

  • Seasonal Cleanup

Twice-a-year resets for your yard: leaf and needle removal, frost-damage cutbacks, crisp bed edges and everything hauled away.

  • Sod Installation

We strip worn turf, regrade the soil and lay fresh St. Augustine, Zoysia or Bahia with tight seams, then show you how to water it until it roots.

  • Hardscape Installation

Paver patios, walkways, fire pit areas and low retaining walls, built on a properly compacted base by the same small crew from layout to final sweep.

  • Tree Trimming and Removal

Structural pruning, deadwood removal and careful takedowns near roofs and fences, done by the same small crew who walked your yard with you.

  • Palm Tree Pruning and Removal

Careful palm pruning that takes only what the tree can spare, plus clean, controlled removal of palms that are dying or in the wrong place.

  • Stump Grinding

We grind old stumps well below the soil line, chase the surface roots and leave the spot ready for sod, mulch or a new planting bed.

  • Bamboo Removal

We cut, dig and sift out bamboo rhizomes, haul the canes away and come back to check for new shoots, so the stand does not quietly return.

  • Property Cleanup

A one-time reset for a yard that has gotten away from you, with overgrowth cleared, debris hauled off and the ground left ready for its next chapter.

How a Job Runs With Us

Most projects follow the same simple path, and you will know who is coming and when at each step.

  1. 1

    A short phone call

Tell us what you have in mind and we set a time to come out. No paperwork yet.

  2. 2

    Walkthrough at your home

We walk the property with you, look at sun, drainage, soil and the irrigation system, and talk through what you want the yard to do for you.

  3. 3

    Written estimate

You get a line-item estimate with plant and material choices spelled out. Take your time. We are happy to adjust scope or phase the work.

  4. 4

    Work days

The same crew you met arrives, protects your lawn and hardscape, and works through the plan in order. If we find something unexpected, we stop and show you before going further.

  5. 5

    Final walk and cleanup

We walk the finished job with you, explain watering for new plants or sod, and leave beds, walks and the driveway clean.

A Landscaping Company That Stays Small

Landscaping Sanford works on homes in Sanford and the towns around it. We chose to stay small so we could stay on our own jobs, rather than sending out whoever is free that day.

We care about how work looks a year from now, not just the day we finish. That means choosing plants that suit the spot, setting edging and pavers on a proper base, and getting irrigation right before anything goes in the ground. When something is not worth doing, we would rather tell you than sell it.

Why Homeowners Choose Our Crew

We keep the team small on purpose. It means fewer handoffs, fewer misunderstandings and a crew that remembers what you asked for.

The same faces every visit

The person who measures your beds and listens to what you want is on site when the work happens. You are not explaining your yard to a new crew each week, and nobody has to guess where the sprinkler heads are or which shrubs you wanted kept.

Covered and accountable

We are business licensed and fully insured. That matters when a crew is working near your house, your driveway and your neighbor's fence line, and it means you are not carrying the risk of our work.

Several Florida seasons behind us

We have been in business since 2018, long enough to see how plantings mature through several wet summers and dry springs. That experience shapes what we recommend and what we talk you out of.

Estimates you can read

Your estimate lists the work line by line: plants, materials, labor and haul-away. If something can wait, we say so. If repairing an irrigation zone makes more sense than replacing it, we tell you that too.

Care for the finish

We lay down boards before running equipment across soft turf, keep edges crisp and blow off walks and drives before we leave. These are little things, but they are what you notice every time you pull into your home.

What Shapes the Cost of a Landscaping Project

No two yards price the same, so we quote after we have seen yours. These are the things that move the number most. If a larger project makes sense to spread out, you can finance amounts as high as $100,000, choose a repayment term anywhere from two to twelve years, and pay it off early without any penalty.

Every estimate is free and written after an on-site visit. The price on paper is the price we work to unless you ask for changes.

Size and access
Square footage sets the baseline. A backyard reached only through a narrow side gate means more hand work and wheelbarrow trips than one we can reach with a compact machine.
What is under the surface
Sandy soil drains fast and holds few nutrients, so new beds and sod often need amended soil or a fresh base. Old roots, buried rock or failing irrigation lines add time once we start digging.
Plants and materials
Container size, plant variety, sod type, mulch grade and paver style all change the price. We can show you options at different levels and explain how each one holds up over time.
Removal and haul-away
Taking out overgrown shrubs, old turf, stumps or a stand of bamboo produces a lot of material. Disposal is listed as its own line so you can see what it costs.
Irrigation changes
New beds usually mean moving heads, adding drip lines or rezoning. We check your system during the walkthrough so this is not a surprise later.

Questions Homeowners Ask Us

Something not covered here? (407) 305-3430

Is the estimate really free?

Yes. We come out, walk your property and put a written estimate together at no cost. There is no obligation to go ahead, and we do not pressure you on the spot.

Will the same people actually do the work?

Yes. The crew that walks the property with you is the crew that shows up to do the job. That is the main reason we keep the company small, and it saves you from repeating yourself.

Do you offer financing?

We do. You can borrow as much as $100,000, pick a term between two and twelve years, and pay the balance off early with no penalty. Homeowners most often use it for landscape design, hardscape installation and full-yard projects. We can go over it during your estimate.

What plants and grass do well here?

Heat, heavy summer rain and sandy soil rule out a lot of what you see in catalogs. We lean on plants that handle full sun and quick drainage, and we match sod type to how much shade and foot traffic a spot gets. We will explain the tradeoffs before you choose.

Can you work with my existing sprinkler system?

Usually, yes. We check each zone during the walkthrough, note broken heads or poor coverage, and tell you whether a repair, an adjustment or added drip lines makes sense. We set run times to follow local watering schedules.

Do you haul away the debris?

Yes. Branches, old shrubs, sod, stumps and bamboo are loaded and taken away as part of the job. Haul-away is listed on your estimate so you know what it covers.

Do I need to be home while you work?

Only for the walkthrough and, ideally, the final walk. On work days we just need access to the yard and to know about pets, gates and any outdoor outlets or spigots we can use.

How long does a typical project take?

A bed refresh or cleanup is often a single day. Sod, irrigation changes and new plantings may take a few days, and hardscape projects run longer. We give you a realistic schedule with your estimate and keep you updated if weather moves things.
